Disney has been building out its reality series for the general entertainment hubs, Hulu and Star, with “The Kardashians”, “The D’Amelio Show”, and the upcoming WWE series, “Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez”.

According to Rob Mills, who is the EVP of Unscripted & Alternative Entertainment at Walt Disney Television, Hulu is developing a new series about a group of Mormon wives, but with a twist, in that they are also swingers.

During a special Realscreen event in New Orleans, Rob said:

“We have a show that we’re working on now that we’re excited about, which is about a group of Mormon wives who are also swingers.”

He also joked about how this series sums up the major difference between Hulu and ABC shows.

The upcoming reality series is going to be produced by Jeff Jenkins Productions, the company behind Netflix’s “Bling Empire”.

It is being executive produced by Jeff Jenkins, Russell Jay-Staglik, Andrea Metz, Brandon Beck, Ross Weintraub, Reinout Oerlemans, Lisa Filipelli, Danielle Pistotnik, and Georgia Berger.

Very little is known about the upcoming series, such as when it might be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the US and likely as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world.

This won’t be the first series to be created by Hulu about Mormons, having previously released a documentary, “Mormon No More”, which followed the journey of a 30-something married Mormon mom who’s just discovered she’s gay and in love with her female friend, another Mormon mom.
