Hulu Developing New Series “Shifter”
Hulu is developing a brand-new series based on the Hachette graphic novel by Koren Shadmi, “Shifter”.
This new series is set in the near future, where a banned cosmetic procedure lets people change their faces on the fly, creating a new underground industry of Shifters, who can become anyone you want, for any purpose you can imagine, for a fee. Rose is making a name for herself as one of the best, but the more she gives to her gigs, the more she risks losing herself.
This new series is being created by Adam Scott, Ezra Claytan Daniels and Eli Jorné, who are the team behind the hit Apple TV show, “Severance”. With the three working on the project as executive producers, with Ezra and Eli writing the project. Daniels has also worked on “Doom Patrol”, with Jorné also working on “The Walking Dead”, “Heels” and “Wilfred”.

According to Deadline, also executive producing the show will be Naomi Scott and Kevin Cotter from Great Scott Productions.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any more details on this upcoming series, such as when it might go into production or be released on Hulu/Disney+, or who might star in it.
As with any project currently in development, this series might not necessarily go through production and arrive on our screens, and if it does, it could be years away.
