Disney’s latest original movie is, “Prom Pact”, which is a heartfelt romantic comedy set during the emotion and excitement of high school Prom season.


What Is “Prom Pact” About?

It’s the height of prom season, and high school senior Mandy Yang and her best friend and fellow outsider Ben are surrounded by over-the-top ’80s-themed Promposals. However, Mandy keeps her eyes focused on a different goal: her lifelong dream of attending Harvard. When she finds out that she has been put on the waitlist, she is determined to do whatever she can do to get herself accepted, even if that means asking for help from the one person she abhors –popular all-star jock Graham Lansing (Blake Draper), whose father is a powerful senator and Harvard alum. Once Mandy becomes Graham’s tutor, she begins to realize there’s more to him than she thought and perhaps something more to life than Harvard.

The Disney Original Movie stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee (“Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.”), Milo Manheim (Disney’s “ZOMBIES” franchise) and newcomer Blake Draper. “Prom Pact” also stars Monique Green as LaToya, Arica Himmel as Zenobia, Jason Sakaki as Charles, Chelah Horsdal as Mrs. Lansing, David S. Jung as Tom Yang, with Wendi McLendon-Covey as Alyssa Yang and Margaret Cho as Ms. Chen.


Who Created “Prom Pact”

Anya Adams (“Ginny and Georgia”) directed the movie and is also an executive producer, along with Jake Kasdan (“Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.”), Melvin Mar (“Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.”), Julie Bowen (“Modern Family”) and Rachael Field (“Modern Family”). Lee is also a co-producer on “Prom Pact,” which was written by Anthony Lombardo (“American Housewife”).


How To Watch “Prom Pact”

The brand-new film from Disney will be released on both the Disney Channel and on Disney+ around the world. So it won’t be available on other streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or HBO Max.

Disney+ is the dedicated streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, along with The Simpsons and much more. In select international markets, it also includes the general entertainment content brand, Star.

Disney+ is currently available in more than 150 markets across North America, Europe, Asia/Pacific, Africa, and Latin America.

To watch Disney+, you’ll need to download the app on a supported device such as a Smart TV, Mobile Phone, Playstation, Xbox or on a dedicated streaming device like a Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, Apple TV, or Sky Q.

When Will “Prom Pact” Be Released On Disney+?

“Prom Pact” will be released on Thursday, 30th March 2023 (8:00-9:45 p.m. EDT) on the Disney Channel and the following day, on Friday, 31st March 2023, on Disney+.

What Time Will New Episodes Of “Prom Pact” Be Released On Disney+

Disney+ updates on Friday at the following times:

  • Pacific Time: 00:00 AM / Midnight
  • Eastern Time: 03:00 AM
  • UK: 08:00 AM
  • Sydney, Australia – 19:00 PM

Sometimes episodes can arrive a few minutes later as the servers update. The Disney+ front page usually updates about an hour later.


Can You Stream “Prom Pact” For Free?

You will need a Disney+ subscription to watch “Prom Pact”, and unfortunately, Disney+ doesn’t offer a free trial.  But if you do sign up for a monthly subscription, you can unsubscribe after a month, or when the series ends.


Is “Prom Pact” on Netflix?

This new film is made by Disney Branded Television exclusively for Disney+, so it will not be available on Netflix, HBO Max, or Amazon.
