This summer, Disney is releasing a brand new live-action series, “Pretty Freeking Scary”, which is about a fourteen-year-old Frankie Ripp had a perfect life — a great family, an annoying little brother, a popular boyfriend and a BFF she could always count on. However, her life took a surprising turn after an unfortunate incident. After some heated debate in the Underworld with the Grim Reaper herself, Frankie is forced to navigate life with her new Underworld guardians, Pretty and Scary, in the most challenging setting of all … middle school. Pretty freekin scary, huh?

The new series stars Eliana Su’a, Kyan Samuels, Leah Mei Gold, Yonas Kibreab and Emma Shannon.

Who Created “Pretty Freekin Scary”

This brand new series is being created by CakeStart Entertainment and CloudCo Entertainment. The executive producer is Jessica Kaminsky, who is also the showrunner on the series. Additional executive producers include Kory Lunsford, Loris Kramer Lunsford, Sean Gorman, Ian Lambur, Ryan Wiesbrock, Jason Netter and Ed Galton. “Pretty Freekin Scary” has been created for Television by Jason P. Hauser.

Disney has announced that it has given a twenty episode order for “Pretty Freekin Scary”.

When Will New “Pretty Freekin Scary” Episodes Be Released On The Disney Channel ?

The first two episodes of “Pretty Freekin Scary” will be released Thursday, 15th June 2023, on Disney Channel in the United States. With two new episodes being released each week on Fridays at 8:30 p.m. on Disney Channel from June 23rd 2023.

When Will New “Pretty Freekin Scary” Episodes Be Released On Disney+?

The first seven episodes of “Pretty Freekin Scary” will be released on Friday 16th June 2023 in the United States. An international release date hasn’t yet been announced.

Can You Stream “Pretty Freekin Scary” For Free?

If you have the Disney Channel, you’ll be able to watch the show there or on Disney NOW. However, if you don’t have the Disney Channel, you will need a Disney+ subscription to watch “Pretty Freekin Scary”, and unfortunately, Disney+ doesn’t offer a free trial.  But if you do sign up for a monthly subscription, you can unsubscribe after a month, or when the series ends.
