To tie in with the release of the new Star Wars series, “Ahsoka”, Disney has announced that Hera Syndulla and Chopper will be making special guest appearances at Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort in California from today for a limited time.

Galaxy’s Edge is a unique land that transports guests to the remote planet of Batuu, full of unique sights, sounds, smells and tastes. Guests can become part of the story as they sample galactic food and beverages, explore an intriguing collection of merchant shops and take the controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Guests can also go on the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction, which is the most ambitious, immersive and advanced attraction ever imagined, which will place guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance and will blur the lines between fantasy and reality.

It’s unknown how long Hera Syndulla will be making appearances at Disneyland, but with the show running for a few more, it’s likely these special appearances will be very limited. Last month, Ahsoka also started making special appearances at the themed land, which has previously had Mandalorian and Grogu from “The Mandalorian” make appearances at Galaxy’s Edge. Unfortunately, Hera won’t be making any appearances at Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World due to the park still having “timeline” restrictions due to the storyline at the Star Wars Galatic Starcruiser hotel, which closes down later this month.

The new series is set after the fall of the Empire, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Once the heart of the Ghost crew during the age of the Empire, Hera Syndulla continues to serve as the captain of her ship while fighting for freedom from oppression as a general in the New Republic during an era of reconstruction. A gifted pilot with a knack for dogfighting with TIE fighters and a steadfast leader who was instrumental in leading the successful Lothal rebellion, Syndulla is now a mother, veteran, and general.

The show stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, along with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

The series is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is a co-executive producer.

The first four episodes of “Ahsoka” are available to stream on Disney+ now and a new episode is released everyweek!
