Disney has announced that the sixth and final season of the hit comedy series, “Grown-ish”, will be finally arriving on Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday, 7th August 2024.   “Grown-ish” is a spin-off of the ABC comedy “Black-ish” that ran for eight seasons, but came to a close in 2022.

The sixth and final season of “grown-ish” follows Andre Johnson Jr., aka Junior, as he transitions from Zoey’s little brother to big man on campus.

The series stars Marcus Scribner, Trevor Jackson, Diggy Simmons, Daniella Taylor, Justine Skye, Tara Raani and Yara Shahidi.

Freeform’s “grown-ish” is produced by ABC Signature. Kenya Barris, Craig Doyle, Yara Shahidi, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, E. Brian Dobbins and Michael Petok serve as executive producers. Craig Doyle serves as the showrunner for the sixth season.

The final season consists of eighteen episodes, which originally premiered on Freeform last summer. However, the creators decided to split it into two, with the second half arriving on FreeForm and Hulu earlier this year and the finale airing back in May.

The previous five seasons of “Grown-ish”, plus every episode of “Black-ish”, are also available to stream now on Disney+.
