Disney has released the first trailer for the 20th season of the smash-hit series, “Grey’s Anatomy”, which is returning in March, with a shorter season due to last year’s strikes.

“Grey’s Anatomy” is considered one of the great television shows of our time. The high-intensity medical drama follows a team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or death decisions on a daily basis. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.

In the season premiere, Meredith rethinks her plans after going rogue in last season’s finale. The interns are on thin ice following a patient’s death, but Simone and Lucas are immediately tested in an emergency. Richard confides in Bailey, and Teddy’s fate is revealed.

Betsy Beers (“Scandal,” “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Station 19”), Mark Gordon (“Saving Private Ryan”), Krista Vernoff (“Shameless”), Debbie Allen, Zoanne Clack and Meg Marinis are executive producers.

The previous seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy” are available to stream now in the United States on Netflix and following a recent deal, the previous seasons will also be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in March. The previous seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy” are also available to stream on Disney+ around the world, where it’s the most-watched show on the platform.

Season twenty will premiere in the United States on ABC on Thursday, 14th March 2014, at 8:00 p.m. EST and new episodes will be available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. The new season will also premiere two weeks later on Disney+ in the UK and Australia on Thursday 28th March 2024.
