Earlier this year, it was revealed that FX was developing a new pilot called “The Sensitive Kind”, which according to Variety, has now been ordered to a series.

The show stars Ethan Hawke, who has previously starred in Marvel Studios, “Moon Knight”, “Training Day” and “Boyhood”. Ethan will also be an executive producer on the show, along with Garrett Basch.

Currently, there isn’t much information about what this new show is about, but it has been described as a “Tulsa noir about a guy (Hawke) who knows too much.”

Sterlin Harjo has created the series and is also working as the executive producer on the show, in addition to directing the pilot.  He has an overall deal with FX, following the creation of the hit series, “Reservation Dogs”, where he also worked with Ethan Hawke, who made a guest appearance on the show.

As with other FX shows, we should expect to see this series released on the FX linear channel, in addition to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States, and as a Star Original on Disney+ internationally.   No release date has been announced about this series yet.

Roger’s Take:  The team at FX are constantly looking for new drama shows and they are usually of a very high standard, so I’d expect nothing less for “The Sensitive Kind”.
