Disney has announced that the FX series, “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans” is going to be coming soon to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The series is based on the bestselling book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era by Laurence Leamer. It tells the story of acclaimed writer Truman Capote, once a confidante to society’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “the swans.” However, his act of betrayal effectively destroyed those relationships, banished him from high society and sent him into a spiral of self-destruction from which he would ultimately never recover.

The series features an all-star cast including Tom Hollander, Naomi Watts, Calista Flockhart, Chloë Sevigny and Diane Lane. The show also stars Demi Moore as Ann “Bang-Bang” Woodward, Molly Ringwald as Joanne Carson, Treat Williams as Bill Paley, Joe Mantello as Jack Dunphy and Russell Tovey as John O’Shea. It was produced by 20th Television.

The series has recently been released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States, but Disney+ subscribers in the UK and Ireland will be able to enjoy the entire season at once when it’s released on Wednesday, 17th April 2024.

While we wait for “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans” to be released, you’ll also find the first season of “Feud”, which tells the story of the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during their collaboration on the Academy Award-nominated thriller “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?”, and well after the cameras stopped rolling. The series explores how the two women endured ageism, sexism, and misogyny while struggling to hang on to success and fame in the twilight of their careers.
