“Freakier Friday” Disney+ Release Date Announced

Disney has announced that the hit summer blockbuster film, “Freakier Friday”, will be coming to Disney+ around the world in November.

The movie is a sequel to the hit 2003 film that told the story of Tess and her daughter, Anna, who do not get along. However, things take a turn when, in a freak incident, they switch bodies and are forced to live each other’s lives.

Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reprise their roles in this hilarious sequel. Tess’s daughter Anna now has a daughter of her own and soon, a stepdaughter. As they navigate the joys and challenges when two families merge, lightning just may strike twice.

Disney’s “Freakier Friday” will be coming to Disney+ around the world on November 12th 2025.  The original “Freaky Friday” film is also available to stream on Disney+ now.

The film was originally released in cinemas in early August, before a digital release earlier this month.  This means the film took just 96 days to go from cinemas to Disney+, lining up with the typical 100-day average.
