FOX has announced details on its upcoming summer schedule, which includes new episodes of many animated favourites from 20th Television and many unscripted shows from FOX. All of these will be available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ the day after they premiere on the FOX channel.

The animation block for the summer season will be temporarily moved from Sundays to Thursdays from May 29th 2025.  “Bob’s Burgers” will kick the night off at 8pm, followed by “Grimsburg” at 8:30 pm, “Family Guy” at 9 pm and “The Great North” at 9:30 pm.   The shift to Thursdays is due to the scheduling conflicts with live sports over the summer, with legacy episodes being released when live sports aren’t happening.

Gordon Ramsay’s new series “Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service” will premiere on May 21st 2025 at 9pm.  The show sees chef Ramsay will venture into struggling restaurants under the cover of night. With the help of a secret source on the inside, he’ll gather raw, unfiltered evidence and get a 360-degree view of the major issues facing each restaurant. This insider will not only remain a secret to the staff, but will also help Ramsay infiltrate the restaurant after-hours for a dramatic nighttime black light kitchen investigation that reveals more filth and grossness than ever before. By the time Ramsay reveals his identity, it will be too late for staff to cover up their culinary crimes. Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service will be his toughest assignment yet as he takes drastic measures to transform not only the restaurant but also the staff, because Gordon knows he can upgrade the menu and renovate the restaurant, but the most important change has to come from the people. Are the restaurant and staff willing to accept Gordon’s mission, or are they too far gone to be saved?

While “The Snake” will premiere on June 10th.  This news series assembles 15 masters of manipulation from various persuasive professions with unique skill sets to compete in an outrageous array of challenges and twists – all of which help contestants move toward becoming that week’s Snake, the most powerful position in the game and ultimate decider of who stays and who goes.

Roger’s Take:  The multi-year deal between FOX and Hulu does mean that subscribers are getting plenty of new shows to enjoy, with lots of animated and unscripted content.  These shows will be a nice little bonus each week on Hulu On Disney+, plus many of these animated shows will be heading to Disney+ internationally later this year.
