Disney has released the first look at a new character from the upcoming Disney+ Original series, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.  This new character is a 14-year-old activist Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, voiced by Keke Palmer.

Keke Palmer has starred in many movies and TV shows including Ice Age: Collision Course, Scream Queens and Hustlers.

The new animated family sitcom “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” is currently in production at Disney Television Animation with Academy Award-winning creator/executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar, who led the original series, at the helm, reuniting them with Calvin Brown, Jr. who is co-executive producer and story editor.
