Filming is currently underway on the latest season of “American Idol”, the popular singing competition series.  To help determine who America will ultimately vote to become the next singing sensation are music industry forces and superstar judges Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.

Joining them is “American Idol” season four winner and eight-time GRAMMY Award winner Carrie Underwood.

Emmy Award-winning host and producer Ryan Seacrest is also returning to host the beloved competition series.

Disney has released a new behind-the-scenes photo of the judges, along with Ryan, on tour around the United States during the audition stages.

“American Idol” is produced by Fremantle and 19 Entertainment, a part of Sony Pictures Television. Megan Wolflick, who also serves as showrunner, and Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman are executive producers for 19 Entertainment. Fremantle distributes the series worldwide.

The new season will return in 2025 and will air on ABC and also episodes will also be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
