Marvel Studios is set to begin production on a new show for Disney+ later year that is currently going by the working title of “Vision”, which is going to be a follow-on from the Disney+ series, “WandaVision” and will pick up the story of what happened after White Vision left Westview following Wanda’s version of Vision restoring his memories.

The new series will see Paul Bettany return as Vision, along with James Spader, who will be reprising his role as Ultron. Faran Tahir is also going to be returning to the MCU, reprising his role of Raza. Also starring in the show is Todd Stashwick.

Recently, it was revealed that T’Nia Miller has joined the cast of the “Vision” series and will be playing the role of the cunning and powerful Jocasta, who is driven by revenge.

Insider Daniel Richtman has revealed more casting details on the show, as Emily Hampshire is going to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe to take over the role of Tony Stark’s augmented reality security, defense and artificial tactical intelligence system E.D.I.T.H, which stans for “Even Dead, I’m The Hero”.

E.D.I.T.H has already appeared in “Spider-Man: Far From Home” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, as Spidey’s AI assistant within his suit. Dawn Michelle King previously provided the voice for the character.

Emily has previously starred in “Schitt’s Creek” and “The Rig”, she will also be starring in the upcoming 20th Century Studios film, “Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice”.

It’s also been revealed that Ruaridh Mollica is going to take over the role of Tommy Maximoff, aka Speed. Tommy was previously played by Jett Klyne in “WandaVision” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. Much like with Billy in “Agatha All Along”, Tommy’s soul has been transferred to another body and at the end of “Agatha All Along”, we see Billy and Agatha head off to try to track him down. Ruaridh was cast earlier this year and it was revealed that he would be playing the role of Tucker, so it’s likely we are going to see a similar storyline of Tucker realising that he is actually Tommy.

No other details for “Vision” have been announced yet, such as what the plot will be, but it looks like we are going to see technology playing a major role in this story.

Terry Matalas will be the new showrunner for the Disney+ series, having previously worked on the Amazon series, “Star Trek: Picard”.  Originally, “WandaVision” showrunner Jac Schaeffer was going to be the head creator on the new series, but has been working on other projects for Marvel, including “Agatha All Along”.

The upcoming untitled “Vision” series is set to be filmed later this year and is expected to be released on Disney+ in 2026.
