Ellen Pompeo To Star In Hulu’s “Not A Sound”

David E. Kelley Productions is teaming up with 20th Television to develop a brand new drama series for Hulu called “Not A Sound”, which is based on Heather Gudenkauf’s novel of the same name.

“Not A Sound” tells the story of what happens after losing her hearing in a devastating hit-and-run, disgraced ER nurse Amelia Winn and her fiercely loyal service dog discover the murdered body of a former colleague — pulling Amelia into a deadly mystery that could finally reveal the truth about the accident that changed her life.

This new series is going to star Ellen Pompeo, who has an overall deal with 20th Television, and she will play the role of Amelia. Ellen also stars in the hit series, “Grey’s Anatomy” and most recently in “Good American Family”.

According to Deadline, “Not A Sound” will be written by David E. Kelley Productions president Matthew Tinker and Annakate Chappell, who worked together on “Big Sky”. It will be directed by Azazel Jacobs, who recently worked on “His Three Daughters”. They will all be executive producers along with Laura Holstein and Ellen Pompeo.

No other details, such as who else will be starring in it, or when it will go into production or be released on Hulu/Disney+, have been revealed. As with any new show in development, this show could go through some creative changes and might not necessarily make it to our screens.
