Dylan O’Brien To Star In Hulu’s “Lex” Pilot

Earlier this year, it was revealed that 20th Television was developing a new comedy pilot for Hulu called “Lex”, which follows a disgraced former reality star who accidentally films a murder in the background of a $20 Cameo video, and finds himself at the center of a global conspiracy — and on the run from powerful forces who want him dead. Using the skills he acquired navigating reality TV’s toxic social dynamics, Lex must fight to not get killed, to expose the truth, and most importantly… to get back on TV.

It has been revealed that Dylan O’Brien has joined the project to play the lead role. Dylan recently starred in the 20th Century Studios film, “Send Help” and the “Maze Runner” movies. He has also previously starred in the “Teen Wolf” TV series.

Dylan has also become an executive producer on the project, which also includes Sean Clements and Paul Simms.

No other details on the upcoming pilot have been revealed, but as with any pilot, it doesn’t necessarily mean Disney will pick up the project for a full series and there can be some creative changes throughout development.
