“Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet” Season 12 Coming Soon To Disney+ (US)
Disney has announced that the twelfth season of “Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet” will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on April 17th 2024, following the latest season’s recent premiere on the Nat Geo Wild channel.
Spanning thousands of acres and incorporating hundreds of species of animals; Michelle Oakley’s veterinary practice is Yukon tough. There is no such thing as a typical day in Michelle’s practice. House calls can range from expelling dogs anal glands to getting chased down by the very large Arctic musk-ox. Accompanied by her teenage daughters and armed with humour as sharp as a scalpel, Michelle deftly juggles being a full-time Veterinarian, wife and doctor, taking us into unexplored and unexamined regions of the Yukon.
The new episodes coming to Disney+ include:
- Not My First Rodeo – Dr. Oakley herds a group of unruly reindeer and treats a mini ram with a limp.
- Like Herding Cats – Dr. Oakley treats an electrocuted sloth and releases rescued animals back into the wild.
- Runaway Reindeer – In Costa Rica, Dr. Oakley handles a pair of jaguars and a sloth in heat.
- Last Stitch Effort – Dr. Oakley competes in a rodeo and treats a dog with persistent nosebleeds.
- Hold Your Mini Horses – Dr. Oakley treats a sheep with a large growth and the eye of a tiny owl.
- Stay Wild – Dr. Oakley treats a pair of neglected dogs, and Willow rescues feral cats.
- Silly Filly – Dr. Oakley lassos a calf, shears an overgrown sheep and treats a dog with an eye injury.
- Right in the Sniffer – Dr. Oakley treats an emaciated chicken and a dog with a lacerated paw.
- Pura Vida – Dr. Oakley treats a cherished breeding bull, a cat with a worrying lump, and a musk ox struggling to walk on his front hooves.
- Coyote Slumber Party – Dr. Oakley vaccinates a jet-setting chihuahua, tries to outsmart a shifty coyote, and meets a cow with an unusual growth.
- Reindeer Remedy – Dr. Oakley treats a baby elk with a limp, performs a dental on a musk ox, and gives a roadside pedicure to a pig.
- Hold The Cheese, Please – Dr. Oakley transports baby bison to their new home and treats a pair of therapy reindeer that help a veteran with PTSD.
- Cow Cuddles- Dr. Oakley treats a pair of debilitated chickens and a Highland cow who loves to give hugs. A reindeer farm hopes to turn their luck around.
- Your Mothers Footsteps- Ahead of Sierra’s departure for vet school, the team treats an emu, a dog with a bulging eye, and a reindeer with a cracked antler.
The previous eleven seasons are available to stream now on Disney+.
