Disney has confirmed that the next Christmas special, “Joy To The Worlds” will be premiering on Disney+ around the world on Christmas Day.  The special will air on the BBC and iPlayer in the United Kingdom.

Ncuti Gatwa returns as Doctor Who, who continues on with his infinite adventures across time and space in the TARDIS. From the Regency era in England to war-torn futures, the duo champion the forces of good while encountering incredible friends and dangerous foes.

“Joy To The Worlds” will see “Bridgerton” star Nicola Coughlan join the Doctor on an adventure through time and space, which also involves a giant dinosaur!

The poster also confirms the special has gone through a slight title change, as its now been changed from “Joy To The World” to “Joy To The Worlds”, indicating that the show will be visiting multiple worlds.

“Doctor Who” is produced by Bad Wolf, with BBC Studios for Disney Branded Television and BBC. Under the creative vision of Davies, the additional executive producers include Phil Collinson, Joel Collins, Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter.

The first season of “Doctor Who”, along with last year’s Christmas Special and 60th Anniversary specials, are also available to stream on the BBC iPlayer in the UK and on Disney+ around the world.
