The Superbowl is one of the biggest events of the year and will be taking place on Sunday, 12th February 2023, and will see the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

While there will be lots of people excited to watch the game, during the event, there will be some trailers released by Disney for a number of films and shows, which will no doubt also be released across Disney’s social media accounts.  The trailers released online are usually longer than the ones shown during the game, since every second of advertising costs so much.

Advertising during the Superbowl allows Disney to reach a much bigger audience, much more than a traditional advert or trailer.

According to Deadline, Disney is going to be dropping trailers for the following films:

• Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
• Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
• The Little Mermaid
• Pixar’s Elemental

It’s also possible that Disney will also drop trailers for:

• Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
• The Marvels

With the upcoming third season of “The Mandalorian” set to debut on Disney+ in March, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see another trailer drop during the event.  Though Deadline isn’t expecting to drop a trailer for the upcoming Marvel “Secret Invasion” Disney+ series.

A bad quality trailer for “The Little Mermaid” has recently leaked onto the internet, which is likely to be officially released properly during the game.

Other trailers expected to drop during the game include the newest installments in the “Fast & Furious” and “Transformers” franchises.
