During the Super Bowl NFL game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, Disney released a new teaser for the upcoming live-action reimagining of the classic animated film, “Lilo & Stitch”, which tells the touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family.

In this teaser, Stitch can be seen running onto the field and dodging members of staff who are trying to catch the little alien to stop him, causing more mischief.

Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker behind the animated feature film “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On,” the film stars Maia Kealoha, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, with Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis. “Lilo & Stitch” is produced by Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin, with Tom Peitzman and Ryan Halprin serving as executive producers.

A new poster was also released featuring Stitch in an American Football helmet:

“Lilo & Stitch” will be coming to cinemas on the 23rd May 2025 and to Disney+ later this year.
