Disney has released the first poster for the upcoming film, “Haunted Mansion” and announced that the teaser trailer will be released on Thursday 2nd March 2023.

Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.

The film stars LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, Dan Levy, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto as The Hatbox Ghost.

“Haunted Mansion” is directed by Justin Simien. It is produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with Nick Reynolds and, Tom Peitzman also serving as executive producers.

At last year’s D23 Expo event, fans in attendance got to see a small preview of the film, which was originally going to be released in early 2023, but it was delayed to the summer, and it will now be released in cinemas on July 28th 2023.

Disney will be looking to follow the success of “The Jungle Cruise” and “Pirates Of The Caribbean” films, which have also been inspired by classic Disneyland attractions. It won’t be the first time Disney has released a film based on the “Haunted Mansion” as it has previously released one with Eddie Murphy, which can be found on Disney+ now.
