
Disney Wins 25 Children’s & Family Emmy Awards
On Saturday, at the third annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, Disney won 25 awards across 20th Television, Disney Branded Television, Lucasfilm, National Geographic, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and platforms Disney+ and Hulu.
The biggest winner of the night was “Percy Jackson And The Olympians”, which has been one of the most-watched original series on Disney+ and won eight of the 16 awards for which it was nominated. The second season will arrive on Disney+ in December, and it’s already been renewed for a third season.
National Geographic’s “A Real Bug’s Life ” was also had a successful evening with four wins, and Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur also won three awards.
Other Disney+ Originals picking up awards included “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”, “The Santa Clauses” and “Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire”.
