Disney Wins 13 Daytime & Lifestyle Emmy Awards
This weekend, the winners of the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Creative Arts & Lifestyle Awards have been announced, and Disney picked up thirteen awards, with the Disney+ Original “Animals Up Close With Bertie Gregory” winning two awards.
“General Hospital” also picked up four awards including Outstanding Daytime Drama Series. Other winners included the Hulu Originals, “Searching for Soul Food” and “Drive with Swizz Beatz”.
The ceremony, which took place at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, celebrated the best in television. More than 1,000 peer professionals from across the television industry judged the awards.
Also during the event, Dwyane Wade won his first Daytime Emmy as an Executive Producer of “Dads,” for Short Form Programming and Robert Downey Jr. also won his first-ever Emmy for “Downey’s Dream Cars” in the Lifestyle Program category.

- Outstanding Daytime Personality (Non-Daily) – Christian Cooper for Extraordinary Birder with Christian Cooper
- Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video – Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade
- Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing – TrueSouth
- Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host – Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos – Live with Kelly and Mark
