The awards season continued over the weekend, with the Critics Choice Association announcing the winners of the 2024 Critics Choice Awards. During the event, Disney won seven awards across five of its content brands and studios: 20th Century Studios, 20th Television, FX, Hulu, and Searchlight Pictures.

The FX series “The Bear” won four awards at the event, including Best Comedy Series, and its lead actors, Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, won the awards for Best Actor, Actress and Supporting Actor.

Meryl Streep won the Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series award for her role in “Only Murders in the Building” and the Hulu/Star Original film, “Quiz Lady” won the Best Movie Made for Television
Quiz Lady award.

Emma Stone won the Best Actress award for her role in the Searchlight Pictures’ film, “Poor Things”

During the ceremony, Harrison Ford was also honoured with the Career Achievement Award. He has starred in many of the most successful and acclaimed films in history, including Lucasfilm’s Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises.
