Disney+ To Livestream “Toy Story 5” Red Carpet London Event
Disney has announced that it will be livestreaming the upcoming Red Carpet event in London for Pixar’s latest film, “Toy Story 5” on Disney+.
In the new film, the toys are back, and this time, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad, a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?
This event will offer Disney+ subscribers in the UK a chance to get a front row seat to enjoy this UK event, which takes place on Thursday, 28th May 2026, in Central London, with many special guests attending.

Recently, Disney announced that UK voice talent Jordan North and Sian Welby had joined the voice cast for the UK version, where they will play Garden Gnome and Inflatable Flamingo.
This live experience will bring fans closer than ever to the excitement, offering a fun behind-the-scenes look at the major film event. From celebrity arrivals to voice cast interviews and special surprises, Disney+ subscribers will get an insider look at an event where every detail is toy-rific.
The livestream will begin at 6.30pm BST, with a full replay available following the event. It isn’t yet clear whether the livestream for the red-carpet event will be available only to subscribers in the UK or globally. We’ve seen Disney starting to livestream its premiere events on Disney+ more often, as this type of content does multiple jobs, it promotes the new film to boost the box office, makes the movie seem much more important and also generates more views/engagement for Disney+.
Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” will release in cinemas on 19th June 2026, and we should expect the film to arrive on Disney+ a few months later, following its theatrical release.
In anticipation of “Toy Story 5”, customers can revisit all four of the previously released “Toy Story” films, as well as the entire catalogue of Pixar titles available to stream on Disney+ now.
