Disney Shows Make Up Over Half The Nielsen Acquired Streaming Chart
Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States from April 22nd, 2024, to April 28th. There are four different charts: Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies, and a combined total chart.
The hit FX series, “Shogun”, continues to be a hit on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+, holding its spot on the originals chart, though Netflix is dominating the originals division at the moment.
Disney’s “Wish” continues to be the most popular movie on Disney+ and “Moana” continues to pull in audiences after all these years.
“Bluey” continues to be a massive hit for Disney+, as does “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Family Guy”, “The Resident”, “White Collar”, and “Criminal Minds” continue to attract millions of minutes of viewing time on Netflix and Hulu/Hulu On Disney+. Showing how these older broadcast series are still extremely popular on streaming services. But it also highlights why Disney is leaning back on its established shows which are constantly performing.
