Disney has announced details for the upcoming Earth Day celebrations, which will be part of National Geographic’s ourHOME campaign, which will begin from April 19th 2024, through to April 22nd 2024.

Earth Day-themed content will be spotlighted across ABC News, Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Freeform, FX, FXX, Hulu, National Geographic, Nat Geo WILD and Nat Geo Mundo, with ourHOME collections on Disney+ and Hulu.

Branded ourHOME, the Earth Day lineup will include programming from some of our very best storytellers and content creators, inspiring viewers to fall in love with the planet with the best Disney content. In addition, the ourHOME brand anthem, featuring the voice of Morgan Freeman, will air throughout the Earth Day content rollout across the Disney networks, Disney Owned Television Stations and select digital platforms.

Additionally, beginning on Sunday, 21st April 2024, ABC News will launch a special week-long series for ourHOME, “Power of Us: People, The Climate, and Our Future,” featuring innovative solutions for climate change. This series, led by ABC News’ chief meteorologist and climate correspondent, Ginger Zee, along with the ABC News weather and climate unit, will not only cover climate challenges we face but also share stories of empowerment about emerging solutions — from individuals, communities, industry, and government — for our changing world.  “Power of Us” will air across ABC News programs and platforms, ABC Owned Television Stations and ABC affiliate stations through Friday, 26th April 2024.

As previously announced, on Earth Day, April 22nd 2024, the latest instalment of Nat Geo’s Emmy Award-winning SECRETS OF… franchise will premiere,  “Secrets Of The Octopus”, narrated by Paul Rudd. Also streaming on Disney+, Disneynature’s all-new feature film “Tiger”, narrated by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, journeys alongside a young tigress raising her rambunctious cubs in the fabled forests of India.
