“Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration” Coming Soon To Disney+
To tie in with the upcoming D23: The Ultimate Fan Event taking place in August, Disney is going to host a special “D23 Day” at Disneyland Resort the day before the three-day fan event on August 13th 2026.
The event will see guests visiting the Disneyland Resort will be given a special ear hat to celebrate, along with special photo moments, cupcakes, souvenirs, and much more.
But the biggest bonus of the event will be a special opportunity for a limited number of fans to watch a live performance of “Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration” in the Paradise Gardens at the California Adventure theme park.
This spectacular performance brings together the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent ever assembled, celebrating the iconic stories across animation, live-action, stage, and music. Attendance will be limited and may require additional steps.
This one-of-a-kind concert will transform the night with dazzling lights, sweeping projections, and sky-high fountains creating a truly immersive world where the music, magic, and legacy of Disney Princesses shine like never before.
But this celebration won’t be available only to fans attending that evening; as Disney will also be able to enjoy a recording of the concert on Disney+ on Sunday, 16th August 2026, and it will also be shown on the Disney Channel, Freeform, and The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC.
Unfortunately, we don’t know who will be featured in the concert, but with many of the stars of the films heading to the D23 event that weekend, I’m sure viewers won’t be disappointed with the lineup.
If you are at the theme park on the day, the virtual queue enrollment begins at 12:00 p.m. PST. This concert will be performed at 8:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. PST. Meaning we know the show will be under an hour long, likely around 45 minutes if it’s also airing on linear television to take up a block with commercials.
On August 13th, guests can request to join the virtual queue to watch the concert through the Disneyland app at 12:00 p.m. PST after entering California Adventure, or after entering Disneyland with a valid Park Hopper ticket.
Guests will be assigned an admittance group when joining a queue. When your group is called and you receive a push notification, proceed to Hyperion Theatre Courtyard between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to scan your ticket or entry code to pick up your wristband. Virtual queue admittance groups are extremely limited and available while supplies last. Wristbands will only be distributed to guests who have obtained a virtual queue admittance group entry code and have signed a filming release form.
Roger’s Take: Back in 2022, I went to Disney+ Day, which took place the day before the D23: Expo and for fans heading out to the D23: Ultimate Fan Event, it makes total sense to head into the parks the day before to enjoy the best that Disney has to offer. So Disney rewarding its die-hard fans with some special moments and entertainment is a fantastic idea. I also think putting on a unique show in the evening is also a fantastic way of making the event feel special, especially since all of the stars will be taking part in panels and presentations that weekend.
