There are plenty of new original shows and films heading to Disney+ around the world in October 2023, including brand new episodes of the latest Star Wars series, “Ahsoka”, plus the return of “Loki” and much more.

Here’s a look at the new originals coming to Disney+ in October 2023:

Marvel’s Loki – Season 2

“Loki” Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

The first episode will be released on Disney+ on Thursday, 5th October 2023 at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET. With a new episode released every week.


Star Wars: Ahsoka

Set after the fall of the Empire, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

The finale will be released on Tuesday 3rd October 2023 (6pm PT/9pm ET)


Goosebumps

Inspired by R.L. Stine’s worldwide bestselling book series, “Goosebumps” follows a group of five high schoolers as they embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle – while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past.

The first five episodes will be released on Disney+ on Friday, 13th October 2023 and a new episode will be released every Friday afterwards.


Once Upon A Studio

An all-star ensemble of beloved characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios come together in Once Upon a Studio for a joyful, entertaining and emotional reunion as they assemble for a spectacular group photo to mark Disney’s 100th anniversary. Featuring 543 characters from more than 85 Disney feature-length and short films, Once Upon a Studio welcomes heroes and villains, princes and princesses, sidekicks and sorcerers—in all-new hand-drawn and CG animation—to celebrate 10 decades of storytelling, artistry and technological achievements.

This new short will be released on Disney+ around the world on Monday, 16th October 2023


4EVER

4EVER is the acting debut of CNCO’s four members: Christopher Vélez (“Andy”), Richard Camacho (“Ian”), Zabdiel De Jesús (“Ciro”), and Erick Brian Colón (“Darío”), and it tells the story of four talented youngsters who undertake the challenging road towards recognition as a band in Miami’s music scene. The musicians meet by chance during a fight in a restaurant. Soon they find themselves involved in an unexpected situation: a valuable guitar disappears and the four of them must recover it before its owner realizes that one of them had borrowed it without letting him know. To achieve this, these talented musicians will need to take over the Miami music scene and create a successful band. When personal differences and betrayals come to light, the search for a unique melody will become the common language that will keep them together.

This new Latin American original arrives on Disney+ on Wednesday, 11th October 2023


Dancing With The Stars

Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, the hit series pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.

The episode will be live-streamed on Disney+ in the United States and Canada every Tuesday at 5PM PT / 8PM ET


Marvel Studios’ Werewolf By Night in Color

Now presented in vibrant color, Marvel Studios’ “Werewolf by Night in Color” takes place on a dark and somber night as a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader. In a strange and macabre memorial to the leader’s life, the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic—a hunt that will ultimately bring them face to face with a dangerous monster. Inspired by horror films of the 1930s and 1940s, the chilling special aims to evoke a sense of dread and the macabre, with plenty of suspense and scares along the way as we explore a new corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This new version will be released on Disney+ on Friday, 20th October 2023


And internationally, there are lots of other original shows and films heading to Disney+, which are going to be released on Hulu in the US.


The Kardashians – Season 4

The family you know and love is here with a brand new series, giving an all access pass into their lives. Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie bring the cameras back to give truth to their stories. From the intense pressures of running billion-dollar businesses to the hilarious joys of playtime and school drop-offs, this series brings viewers into the fold with a rivetingly honest story of love & life in the spotlight.

New episodes are being released every Thursday throughout October.


Only Murders In The Building – Season 3

From the minds of Steve Martin, Dan Fogelman and John Hoffman comes a comedic murder-mystery series for the ages. “Only Murders In the Building” follows three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. As they record a podcast of their own to document the case, the three unravel the complex secrets of the building which stretch back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living amongst them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.

The finale will be released on Monday 3rd October 2023.


The D’Amelio Show – Season 3

While the outside world beckons with bigger and better opportunities for the D’Amelios, their toughest challenges come from within their own relationships. Sisters Dixie and Charli experience their highs and lows together, but without Marc and Heidi to mediate, things come to a head when they can’t see eye-to-eye. Charli has leapt from phone screens to performing live, but young love and family strife take center stage. Dixie, newly in her single era, is living large as a young celebrity in Hollywood, but will the high life bring her down? And with their futures on the line, the D’Amelios work to build their family business into an empire, but are Dixie and Charli yearning for more independence?

Living for the Dead (S1)

“Five fabulous, queer ghost hunters criss-cross the country, helping the living by healing the dead. As they explore some of the world’s most infamous haunted locations, they’ll shed light on those not seen and illuminate untold stories. Together they’ll push past boundaries to bring acceptance to the misunderstood – living and dead. This is “Living For The Dead,” Ghost Hunties!

This new series arrives on Disney+ on Wednesday, 18th October 2023


Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story

It was the social media scandal that captivated the nation and spawned a high court trial. British celebrity Coleen Rooney’s private Instagram stories about her and her family are being leaked to a newspaper without her knowledge but Coleen will go to extraordinary lengths to find the culprit.

This new series will be released on Wednesday 29th October 2023.


Tokyo Revengers – Season 3

The series tells the story of Takemichi Hanagaki, who is at a low point in his life, living on part-time jobs, when he learns that his girlfriend from junior high, Hinata Tachibana, has been killed by the vicious Tokyo Manji Gang. The next day, Takemichi is standing on a train platform when he feels someone push him onto the tracks. Just when he thinks he’s about to die, he opens his eyes to find himself time-slipped twelve years in the past. Having time slipped to the best times of his life, his junior high school days, Takemichi decides to change himself, stop running away from things, and save his girlfriend. So begins the revenge for his life!

Appendage

A young fashion designer seems fine on the surface but secretly struggles with debilitating self-doubt. Soon these buried feelings begin to make Hannah physically sick and sprout into a ferocious growth on her body: The Appendage. As Hannah’s health declines, The Appendage grows more powerful and begins to fuel her anxieties – her perceived lack of talent at work, her deteriorating relationships with her boyfriend and best friend and her parents’ lack of love and understanding. At her breaking point, Hannah makes a shocking discovery – there are others out there like her.

This film will be released on Disney+ on Monday, 2nd October 2023 in Canada and on 18th October in the UK & Ireland
