Disney has announced that the Disney+ Original series, “Win Or Lose”, is going to be broadcast on the Disney Channel in the United States for the first time later this month.

Pixar Animation Studios’ first-ever original series follows the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game. The series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of each character – the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire – with incredibly funny, very emotional, and uniquely animated perspectives.

The series is directed, written, and executive produced by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, and produced by David Lally.

“Win Or Lose” is available to stream on Disney+, and the show will premiere on the Disney Channel on Saturday, 7th June 2025, with episodes being released each week.

Roger’s Take: It makes total sense for Disney to utilise its original programming from Disney+ on its linear channels, especially a few months later, after the initial boom in viewership has happened.   The days of original programming staying exclusive to a platform, especially at Disney, have proven to be problematic, especially as Disney has so many different outlets.  Hopefully, this means more kids and families will get to see this lovely animated series.
