On Saturday evening on the Backlot Stage at the D23: Ultimate Fan Event, Disney premiered two full episodes of the first-ever original series, “Win or Lose”!

The new series reveals what it feels like to be in the shoes of eight different characters—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—as they prepare for a championship softball game. Will Forte lends his voice to the coach.

The event was attended by filmmakers Carrie Hobson, Michael Yates, and David Lally, who took part in a question and answer session after the watch party.

“Win Or Lose!” is coming to Disney+ on December 6th 2024

Roger’s Take: I’m looking forward to watching “Win Or Lose!” when it debuts on Disney+ later this year. Unfortunately, looking at the amount of empty chairs in the photos, it looks like this premiere event was poorly attended.  This isn’t a huge surprise, since it was scheduled just ahead of the major Disney Experiences presentation at the Honda Center, which was attended by over ten thousand Disney fans, who would have already left the Anaheim Convention Center by the time this Watch Party started.  I’ve no doubt that if this had been scheduled earlier in the day, more people would have attended.
