Disney Nominated For Over 30 Annie Awards

Today, the nominations for the 53rd Annie Awards were revealed, which recognise the year’s best in the field of animation.

Disney picked up over thirty nominations for its films and shows, including “Zootopia 2”, “Elio”, “Win Or Lose”, “Marvel Zombies”, “Star Wars: Visions”, “Eyes Of Wakanda”, “Kindergarten: The Musical”, “The Simpsons”, “Not Just A Goof”, “Bob’s Burgers” and “Captain America: Brave New World”.

The 53rd Annie Awards will return to UCLA’s Royce Hall on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Pre-reception and Red Carpet will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 7:00 p.m., and the after-party immediately following the ceremony. All events will take place at UCLA.

This year’s Best Animated Feature nominations include Pixar’s “Elio” and Walt Disney Animation’s “Zootopia 2”, along with Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters”, “Little Amélie or the Character of Rain” and Dreamworks “The Bad Guys 2”.

Pixar’s “Elio” was nominated for ten awards, which was the most nominated project of the year, along with Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters”.  With “Zootopia 2” picking up seven nominations, and “Win Or Lose” also getting six nominations each.
