Disney Nominated For 27 Golden Globes
Today, the nominations for this year’s Golden Globes awards were announced and Disney picked up 27 nominations across its different content brands and studios, which include ABC, Disney’s FX, Disney+, Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television, ESPN, FX Productions, and Hulu and Hulu Originals; and The Walt Disney Studios’ 20th Century Studios, Disney Live Action, Lucasfilm Ltd., Pixar Animation Studios, Searchlight Pictures, and Walt Disney Animation Studios.
20th Television garnered 15 nods across multiple series this season, including best series “Only Murders in the Building”, “Abbott Elementary”, “Dying for Sex”, “The Beast in Me”, and “Nobody Wants This”.
There were also plenty of nominations for the lead performances in many of Disney’s shows including: Sterling K. Brown (Paradise); Disney Legend Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez (Only Murders in the Building); Adam Brody and Disney Legend Kristen Bell (Nobody Wants This); Matthew Rhys and Claire Danes (The Beast in Me); Michelle Williams (Dying for Sex); and Glen Powell (Chad Powers).
The Walt Disney Studios earns eight nominations across “Andor” (Lucasfilm), “Avatar: Fire and Ash” (20th Century Studios), “Elio” (Pixar Animation Studios), “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” (20th Century Studios), “The Testament of Ann Lee” (Searchlight Pictures), and “Zootopia 2” (Walt Disney Animation Studios).
Disney+ and Hulu are the home of the majority of these shows and films, though “The Beast in Me”, and “Nobody Wants This” have been licensed to Netflix.
The winners will be announced on Sunday, 11th January 2026.
