This year’s Streamy Awards have been announced and Disney+ has been nominated for two awards “Multi-Platform Campaign” and “Brand of the Year”.
The Streamy Awards honours excellence in online video and the creators behind it in over forty-five awards categories. Marking its 10th anniversary in 2020, the annual event is the foremost recognition by which online creators and their work is lauded.
Disney+ will be competing with Barbie, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, Netflix and Old Spice in the “Brand of the Year” category.
And in the Multi-Platform Campaign category, the Disney+ Launch will be competing against:
- Gift it Forward with Cardi B – Pepsi VaynerMedia
- The Greatest Challenge of All Time with Cristiano Ronaldo and Marta – Clear (Unilever) Desimpedidos • NWB
- Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker – Star Wars Reach Agency
- Tito’s Made To Order – Tito’s Vodka First Tube Media
Streamy Awards Nominees and Winners are determined by an independent judging body of creators, executives, and other experts in the online video industry.
The winners will be announced on Sunday December 13th on YouTube.
