Disney Hosts “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” Premiere In Los Angeles
With just a couple of days to go until the release of Marvel Studios’ new movie, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, Disney held a special world premiere on Monday evening at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.
Set against a vibrant, retro-futuristic 1960s backdrop, Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces the iconic Marvel First Family. Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm face their most formidable challenge yet, as they are forced to defend Earth from the ravenous space god Galactus and his enigmatic herald, the Silver Surfer. The film delves into the complexities of their family bond as they balance their roles as heroes against an increasingly personal threat.
The event was also live-streamed onto Disney+ around the world for the first time ever.
The event saw the cast, filmmakers, and over 2,000 guests gather for a star-studded blue carpet affair and a special musical performance. Some of the cast members at the premire included Pedro Pascal (Mister Fantastic/Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman/Sue Storm), Joseph Quinn (Human Torch/Johnny Storm), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing/Ben Grimm), Ralph Ineson (Galactus), Julia Garner (Silver Surfer), Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles, alongside director Matt Shakman, producer Kevin Feige, and executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis.
Some of the special guests included Dave Bautista, Simu Liu, Sean Gruffudd, Xochitl Gomez, Simon Williams, Regan Aliyah, Darne Keen, Arian Moayed, Tony Revolori, Lewis Tan, and Cameron Monaghan.
Guests were treated to a surprise musical suite from the film, conducted by Oscar®-winning composer Michael Giacchino, known for his work on “Up.”
