Disney Hosts “Sofia The First: Royal Magic” Premiere In Los Angeles

Just ahead of the release of the new animated series, “Sofia the First: Royal Magic” on Disney+, Disney held a special premiere event, “Sofia’s Enchanted Breakfast”, a whimsical experience at Short Stories Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

“Sofia the First: Royal Magic” is set in the world of “Sofia the First.” It follows Sofia as she attends the Charmswell School for Royal Magic, where she discovers she is the most magical princess in the realm and must learn how to master her powers while making new royal friends.

The event welcomed cast members and celebrity fans and their families for a magical morning celebrating the upcoming premiere of “Sofia the First: Royal Magic”.

Talent from the series in attendance included Ariel Winter (Princess Sofia), Kai Harris (Prince Zane), Aaliyah Magcasi (Camila), Mela Pietropaolo (Layla), Matthew Lamb (Prince Devin), Yonas Kibreab (Prince James), and Darcy Rose Byrnes (Princess Amber). 

Also in attendance with their families were: Stassi Schroeder (“House of Stassi”), Jenna Dewan (“The Rookie”), Scheana Shay(“Vanderpump Rules”), Alisa Reyes (“The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder”), Jamila Jordan-Theus (“Turning the Tables with Robin Roberts”), Janet Caperna (“The Valley”), Nia Sanchez (“The Valley”), Tom Payne (“Walking Dead”), Iliza Shlesinger (“Last Comic Standing”), and Brianna Betts.

The new series will premiere on May 25th 2026, on Disney Jr, with new episodes being released the next day on Disney+ in many countries around the world, including the US, Canada and the UK.
