Disney Hosts “Only Murders In The Building” Tastemaker Event In New York
To tie in with the release of the first three episodes of the fifth season of the popular comedy series, “Only Murders In The Building”, Disney hosted a special tastemaker event in New York.
The fifth season tells the story of what happens after their beloved doorman, Lester, dies under suspicious circumstances, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel refuse to believe it was an accident. Their investigation plunges them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond — where the trio uncovers a dangerous web of secrets connecting powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters, and the mysterious residents of the Arconia. The trio discovers a deeper divide between their storied city, they thought they knew, and the new New York evolving around them — one where the old mob fights to hold on as newer, even more dangerous players emerge.
The event was a celebration of the show with high-stakes games and surprise appearances from your favourite crime-solving trio, Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, along with stars Michael Cyril Creighton and Richard Kind!
Notable guests also included influencers such as Matt Peterson, Savannah Hannah, Grant & Ash, Nicque Marina, Avery Woods, Mikayla Nogueira, Grace O’Malley, Darcei Giles, Aditya Madiraju, Chicks in the Office and more!

“Only Murders in the Building” hails from co-creators and writers Steve Martin & John Hoffman (“Grace & Frankie,” “Looking”). Martin & Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, “This Is Us” creator Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith and JJ Philbin. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
The first three episodes of the fifth season, along with the previous four seasons of “Only Murders In The Building” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally. A new episode is being released each week.
