New Original “Count My Lies” Goes Into Production

Disney has revealed that filming is now underway on a new original drama series called “Count My Lies”, which stars Lindsay Lohan, Shailene Woodley, and Kit Harington.

In “Count My Lies”, when compulsive liar Sloane Caraway (Woodley) fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet (Lohan) and Jay Lockhart, it seems she’s finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode – with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.

Also starring in the upcoming drama will be Lou Diamond Phillips (Young Guns) who will play Paul, the boyfriend of Slone’s mum, Tracy, who is played by Katherine LaNasa (The Pitt).

The show is based on the debut novel by Sophie Stava, who is also a producer on the project and has been written by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who executive produce via The Walk-Up Company and serve as showrunners.   They also have an overall deal with 20th Television, which is the studio behind the show.  Also executive producing are Lindsay Lohan, Shailene Woodley and Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company.  

No other release details on “Count My Lies” have been revealed, but it’ll be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
