Disney Delays “Ice Age: Boiling Point”

During the Walt Disney Studios Showcase presentation at the Destination D23 event in Orlando, Florida, Disney officially announced that it has delayed the release of its upcoming sixth instalment in the “Ice Age” franchise.

Disney has also confirmed that the movie will now be called “Ice Age: Boiling Point” and the newest adventure takes the herd to visit never-before-seen corners of the treacherous Lost World! No other details on the upcoming movie have been revealed, such as what the plot will be.

The film was initially scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 18th December 2026, but it will now arrive in cinemas on February 5th 2027. This delay was expected once the Marvel Studios movie, “Avengers: Doomsday”, release date was shifted back to the same day, since it makes no sense for Disney to release both movies on the same day.

“Ice Age: Boiling Point” will see Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah and Simon Pegg return.

While we wait for the new “Ice Age” movie, you’ll find the previous movies available to stream now on Disney+.
