Daredevil Rumored To Return In She-Hulk Disney+ Series & Third Spider-Man Movie
Ever since Disney announced that the Marvel Daredevil series on Netflix was cancelled in 2018, there has been lots of pressure from fans to see Charlie Cox return as the “Devil of Hell’s Kitchen”.
Netflix stated at the time of the cancellation that:
“While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel”
There was a clause in the Netflix contract that prohibited Disney from using Daredevil on our screens for two years, which has now passed.
Murphy’s Multiverse has reported that Charlie Cox has signed on to return to the role for the upcoming Spider-Man film, where he is expected to play Peter Parker’s lawyer, Matt Murdock.
However, the third movie is going to explore the “multiverse” and its possible that the “Daredevil” we see in the third Spider-Man might be a little different than the Netflix series. Similar to how J.K. Simmons returned as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man: Far From Home, even though he played the same role in Sam Raimi’s classic Spider-Man trilogy.
According to Grace Randolph, Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk was also in consideration for the role of Peter Parker’s lawyer, but Kevin Feige felt the comic book connection between Daredevil and Spider-Man was stronger.
She is also reporting that Charlie Cox is in talks to appear in the new She-Hulk series for Disney+ as lawyer Matt Murdock.
I will also add to my video that Charlie Cox is in talks to appear in the #SheHulk show, as they’re both NYC lawyers
