Last week, Disney celebrated its 100th anniversary, and as part of the celebrations, “Dancing With The Stars” hosted a special “Disney100 Night”, which saw the couples dance to songs from beloved soundtracks of Disney’s most cherished films.

“Dancing with the Stars” is the first series to simulcast across both ABC and Disney+ and is available the next day on Hulu. Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, the hit series pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. The show is produced in front of a live audience by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.

Pro dancers performed an opening number that was the talk of the town to “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from “Encanto”.  The dance was choreographed by Christopher Scott, with partner dances including Contemporary, Paso Doble, Jazz, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz or Waltz.

Disney has announced that the “Disney100” themed night pulled in 6.24 million Total Viewers and managed to get a 0.97 rating among AD18-49 in MP+3.  Giving “Dancing with the Stars” its highest-rated telecast since its season premiere among Adults 18-49, growing by 8% over the week (0.68 rating vs. 0.63 rating) in the Live+3 day numbers.

ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” ranked as Tuesday’s No. 1 entertainment series in Adults 18-49 (0.68 rating), topping CBS’ “Big Brother” (0.67 rating) and NBC’s “The Voice” (0.65 rating).

After three days of viewing across linear and streaming platforms, “Dancing with the Stars” also grew to its highest-rated multiplatform telecast since its season premiere in Adults 18-49 (0.97 rating). “Dancing with the Stars” jumped to 6.24 million Total Viewers after three days of cross-platform viewing across ABC, Disney+ and Hulu.
