Dan Stevens Takes Over The Voice Of Korvo In “Solar Opposites”
Following allegations of domestic violence about “Solar Opposites” creator, Justin Roiland, Disney announced today that Dan Stevens has joined the cast of “Solar Opposites” as the new voice of Korvo for the fourth and fifth seasons. Dan Stevens has previously starred as Beast in the live-action version of “Beauty And The Beast”, along with FX’s Marvel series, “Legion”, and 20th TV’s “Welcome To Chippendales”.
“Solar Opposites” centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Dan Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff.
In the fourth season of “Solar Opposites,” we pack up the sci-fi and get normal… for a second. Then it’s back to classic Solar chaos, mayhem in the Wall, and some all-new Silvercops adventures!
A new video was released showing how the adult-animated series will deal with the situation, in a way that could only happen on “Solar Opposites”, as they use a voice-changing device that turns Korvo into a well-spoken Englishman.
“Solar Opposites” is executive produced by Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.
All eleven episodes of the fourth season of “Solar Opposites” will be released on Hulu in the United States on Monday, 14th August 2023. It hasn’t yet been confirmed when the series will be released on Disney+ around the world. It was also announced that a Valentine’s Day special is coming in 2024.
The first three seasons of “Solar Opposites” are available to stream now on Hulu in the United States, Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ around the world.
