D23 ‘Horizons: A Carousel Of Progress’ Disney Experiences Showcase To Stream On Disney+

This coming weekend, Disney is hosting the D23: Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California for a three-day super event full of showcases, sneak peeks, exclusive shopping, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Disney has announced that it will be streaming the ‘Horizons: A Carousel of Progress’ panel from the Honda Centre onto Disney+ at 7pm PT/10pm ET on August 15th 2026.

Join host Neil Patrick Harris for a journey into the stories shaping the future of Disney Experiences around the world. Building on the ambitious projects announced in 2024, this year’s showcase will take fans deeper into the creative vision behind what’s to come, hearing directly from the Imagineers, storytellers, artists, and innovators bringing these experiences to life.

Inspired by the Carousel of Progress, Neil will guide the show and lead engaging conversations with the people creating the future of Disney Experiences—complete with behind-the-scenes looks, special performances, exciting announcements, and a few surprises along the way.

Disney has also revealed that throughout the weekend, subscribers can unlock special Disney+ Perks, offers, and experiences. Guests attending D23 can also step inside the Disney+ Hulu Experience, featuring immersive photo opportunities, a 4D theater experience, limited-edition merchandise, and more.

Roger’s Take: Disney has previously streamed the “Experiences” panel, aka the parks and cruise line panel, on YouTube in the past, and it makes sense to do so, since it helps promote the theme parks and ships.  I’m certainly interested to see what they reveal and will be checking it out on Disney+.

Unfortunately, Disney hasn’t confirmed if it will also be live-streaming the Disney Entertainment Showcase on Friday evening, which will be where they discuss all the latest films and shows coming to cinemas and Disney+.

Are you going to be checking out the ‘Horizons: A Carousel of Progress’ panel?  Let me know on social media!
