Disney has announced that the British original series, “Culprits” is coming to Disney+ in Canada on Wednesday 14th February 2024.

Joe Petrus is living the American dream: he’s a fiancé to Jules, dad to Frankie and Bud, and starting his own business in a sleepy suburban town. But unbeknownst to his family, Joe has a secret.

Three years ago, Joe was recruited by notorious British criminal Dianne Harewood to join her crew and take part in a high-stakes crime – one that promised to make Joe rich and provide him with a brand-new life. And now, his dangerous past is about to catch up with him. When a killer starts targeting the crew behind the crime, Joe realizes that the only way to keep his family safe is to return to London, make contact with his old gang, and track down Dianne.

The series stars Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (“Generation”, “Candyman”), Gemma Arterton (“The King’s Man”, “Summerland”), Niamh Algar (“Deceit”, “Raised by Wolves”), Kirby (“Cruella” “The Good Place”), Kamel El Basha (“The Insult”), Tara Abboud, Kevin Vidal (“Strays”, “Working Moms”), Ned Dennehy (“The Peripheral”, “Good Omens”), and Eddie Izzard (“Victoria and Abdul”, “Six Minutes to Midnight”).

“Culprits” is executive produced by Stephen Garrett & J Blakeson, created by J Blakeson, directed by J Blakeson and Claire Oakley (“Make Up”) and produced by Morenike Williams (“Killing Eve”). Culprits is a Character 7 production and is executive produced by Johanna Devereaux for Disney+.

Unlike most originals, the release of this British Disney+ Original has been spread out on different platforms internationally. This series has previously been released in Canada on Fubo TV and Stack TV. However, the series was originally released on Disney+ in the UK back in November and was also released on Hulu in the United States in December.
