Just ahead of Disney’s Upfront event, which takes place at the North Javits Center in New York on Tuesday 14th May, where Disney will be trying to woo advertisers for the year, Disney has announced that it has renewed the celebrity spinoff of the popular game show “Jeopardy” for a third season.

“Celebrity Jeopardy” is hosted by Ken Jennings, the game show features celebrity contestants competing for a chance to win money for a charity of their choice.

The original “Jeopardy” debuted in 1964 and has run for over 9,000 episodes.  The celebrity version launched on ABC in 2022, with “The Big Bang Theory” actress Mayim Bialik hosting, before she was replaced by Ken Jennings after the first season.

No release date has been announced for the release of the third season, though its likely it will be apart of the upcoming Fall season, much like its previous two seasons.  New episodes will air on ABC first, before being available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.

The series is executive produced by Michael Davies and is produced by Sony Pictures Television, which is why the show isn’t available on Disney+ outside the United States.
