Disney has announced details on the cast for the upcoming Korean Star Original series, “Connect”, which will be coming soon to Disney+
This new crime-thriller series will follow a man who is suddenly kidnapped by a gang of organ harvesters. He awakens following the procedure to find one of his eyes missing, however, discovers that he is still able to see out of his missing eye, which is now being used by an infamous serial killer.
“Connect” will star Jung Hae-in, who has previously starred in “Snowdrop” and will be playing the main character, Ha Dong-soo, a man with the secret ability to immediately heal from any injury, no matter how life-threatening.
Also starring in this new series will be Ko Kyung-po , who has previously starred in “Decision To Leave” and “Seoul Vibe”. He will be playing the show’s main antagonist Oh Jin-seop, a serial killer terrorising the people of Seoul.
And Kim Hye-jun, will be playing the mysterious female lead Irang. She has previously starred in “Inspector Koo” and “Kingdom”.
“Connect” will be directed by Japanese filmmaker Miike Takashi, who has previously directed “13 Assassins”, “Gozu” and “Ichi The Killer”. The series has been written by Nakamura Masaru and Heo Dam.
This series joins a number of other Korean original series being released on Disney+ including “Snowdrop”, “Rookie Cops” and “Grid”.

No release date has been announced for when “Connect” will be released on Disney+ in the Asia/Pacific region. It’s unknown if this series will be released outside of this region.
