Good news, Bluey fans!   A brand new 28-minute special episode called “The Sign” will be coming out in 2024 on ABC in Australia and on Disney+ around the world.

Created and written by Joe Brumm and produced by the multiple Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family, “Bluey” follows the adventures of a lovable and inexhaustible Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her Dad, Mum and little sister, Bingo. It showcases the joyful simplicity that can be found in families, by bringing to life how children learn and grow through play.

“Bluey” is one of the most popular shows on Disney+ around the world and is continuously trending on Disney+ and is a regular on the Nielsen streaming charts, beating out most other Disney+ shows in terms of viewership.

A new teaser trailer for the upcoming special was released online today, which you can see below:

A representative of Ludo Studio said in a statement:

‘We’re so excited to share that a 28-minute special episode is coming in 2024.  There’ll be lots of laughs, exciting guest voices, and definitely a few tears. We’re so incredibly proud of the awesome team behind the series and we can’t wait for Australia and the world to watch this very special Bluey episode with their family and friends.’

The show’s creator Daley Pearson, also took to social media to confirm the news:

Unfortunately, no official release date for the upcoming 28-minute episode has been announced, but hopefully, it won’t be too long. But in the meantime, you can catch all three seasons of “Bluey” on Disney+ now.
