Recently, Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri in the Marvel “Black Panther” movies, made an apperance on “The View” to promote her new movie, “Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot” and she was asked by Sunny Hostin about her future within the Marvel Cinematic Universe since there are some new Avenger movies on the horizon, and asked if Shuri will be making another appearance in the Marvel universe.

As you might expect, Letitia Wright was a little cagey about giving a response, but did say:

“If it’s, uh, let’s just say, let’s just say… I would like to continue with Shuri. She’s one of my favorite characters, such a blessing, honestly, I kid you not. I’m so grateful for her.”

She was also asked if a third Black Panther film was in the works, to which Wright said:

“There’s a lot coming up.”

Check out her interview below:

Roger’s Take: While no third instalment has been officially announced, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the character turns up in the upcoming animated series, “Eyes Of Wakanda”, plus there are two more “Avengers” movies due out in the next few years. With the upcoming presentations at San Diego Comic-Con in July and D23 Ultimate Fan Event in August, hopefully, we get a bit of an update on the next phase in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as another “Black Panther” movie will no doubt be a huge hit.

You can watch “Black Panther” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” on Disney+ now.
