This coming February, Disney+ and Hulu will offer plenty of new original programming, including a brand new animated series from Marvel and the first-ever series from Pixar, plus a new comedy special and much more.

Here’s the rundown of new originals coming to Disney+ and Hulu in February:

Win Or Lose

Pixar’s first original series follows the intertwined stories of eight characters as they prepare for their big championship softball game. The series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of each character—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—with incredibly funny, very emotional, and uniquely animated perspectives.

The first two episodes will be released on Disney+ on February 19th 2025, and new episodes will be released weekly.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

The animated series follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.

New episodes will be released on Disney+ each Wednesday throughout February.

Harlem Ice

Harlem Ice is a 5-part documentary series following the coaches and girls of Figure Skating in Harlem as they prepare for competitions, performances and a life-changing global experience. Through their eyes, we experience the highs and lows of the FSH Season, and the unique experiences they have as girls of color breaking the ice ceiling and gaining access to a global stage. We follow sisters Tori and Ashley, newbie Adrianna and senior Ariyana, and see how each girl makes her mark and helps to put Harlem Ice on the map.

This new series will be coming to Disney+ on February 12th 2025.

The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl

In honour of “The Lion King’s” 30th Anniversary, the Hollywood Bowl transforms into the Pride Lands for an immersive concert event. This music event celebrates the franchise’s evolution, from the 1994 animated film to the Tony Award-winning musical, and the 2019 and 2024 live-action films, honoring the music and characters that made it a global phenomenon.

This new special will be released on Disney+ on Friday, 7th February 2025.

There are also plenty of new originals being released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and as Star Originals on Disney+ around the world, including:

Muslim Matchmaker

“Muslim Matchmaker,” is a new, eight-episode, 30-minute unscripted dating series from “Indian Matchmaking” creator Smriti Mundhra’s Meralta Films and ABC News Studios streaming just in time for Valentine’s Day. Matchmakers Hoda Abrahim and Yasmin Elhady are on a mission — to help Muslim American singles find their lifelong partner while staying true to their faith. This duo isn’t messing around with modern dating apps and hook-up culture but instead swear by their cardinal “Rules of Three”: three dates, three months and three hundred questions (yes, you read that right!). From cringey first dates to moments of profound connection, Hoda and Yasmin support their clients in navigating the complexities of dating with the intention of marriage while staying true to their values and beliefs.

Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke

When popular vlogger Ruby Franke is arrested for child abuse in August 2023, it quickly becomes one of the biggest trending stories in America. For years, the Frankes’ YouTube channel had documented a wholesome, happy family life, with 2.5 million subscribers tuning in at its peak. But happy families are rarely what they seem. As the cracks began to show, the family turned to counselor Jodi Hildebrandt for guidance – and rapidly found themselves trapped in a nightmare. Only the Frankes know what went on inside their home. This series marks the first time Shari and Chad, the Frankes’ two eldest adult children, and Kevin, Ruby’s husband, will share their story in depth on camera. With exclusive access to the Frankes, their friends and neighbors, and over a thousand hours of their YouTube channel’s unseen footage, “Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke” cuts through the social media reaction to explore the untold story behind the Ruby Franke case: part family tragedy, part coming-of-age narrative, part tale of our times about the perils of life lived online.

This new documentary series arrives on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on February 27th 2025.
