This coming December, there will be plenty of new films heading to Disney+ including two new documentaries from National Geographic and lots of new additions via Hulu, plus much more.

Here’s the rundown:

Elton John: Never Too Late

The documentary follows Elton John as he looks back on his life and the astonishing early days of his 50-year career in this emotionally charged, intimate and uplifting full-circle journey. As he prepares for his final concert in North America at Dodger Stadium, Elton takes us back in time to recount the extraordinary highs and heartbreaking lows of his early years and how he overcame adversity, abuse and addiction to become the icon he is today.

This all new original documentary will be released on Disney+ globally on Friday, 13th December 2024.

Blink

Chronicles a family’s global trip before their children lose vision to a rare genetic disorder, capturing their journey to experience the world’s beauty while they can still see it, and preparing for an inevitable future.

This new film will be hitting Disney+ in the US and UK on Tuesday, 17th December 2024

Sugarcane

An investigation into abuse and missing children at an Indian residential school sparks a reckoning on the nearby Sugarcane Reserve.

Nat Geo’s latest documentary will be released on Disney+ in the US and UK on Tuesday, 10th December 2024.

There will also be lots of great new films heading to Disney+ in the United States through Hulu On Disney+:

Twilight (2008)

Bella Swan is an average teenager who often goes unnoticed. However, her life changes for the better when she meets Edward Cullen, a vampire with dreamy eyes and skin that sparkles in sunlight.

The entire “Twilight” saga will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on December 1st 2024.

Gladiator (2000)

Commodus takes over power and demotes Maximus, one of the preferred generals of his father, Emperor Marcus Aurelius. As a result, Maximus is relegated to fighting till death as a gladiator.

“Gladiator” is coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on December 1st 2024.

Speed (1994)

A disgruntled, dangerous man plants a bomb in an elevator. When his mission fails, he plants a bomb in a local bus and threatens to set it off unless his demand is met.

This classic action film is coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on December 1st 2024.

Cast Away (2000)

Chuck Noland wakes up on a deserted island after his plane crash-lands into the Pacific. Now, he must harness every skill he knows to survive the mental and physical agony of living alone.

This fantastic movie starring Tom Hanks is coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on December 1st 2024.

Step Up (2006)

Tyler and Nora meet at Maryland School of the Arts, where Tyler works as a janitor. They fall in love and encourage each other to follow their passion for dance and fulfil their dreams.

All three “Step Up” movies will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on 9th December 2024
